Sun T2 and 2048-thread server

According to this exclusive article from The Register, Sun is ready to release the UltraSPARC T2 servers (or Niagara II) with an 8-core, 64-thread chip, at 1.5GHz. Additionally, Sun is planning to release a 2048-thread server in 2008.
