Acclinet Technology Grants

Acclinet Corporation is a reseller of UNIX IT equipment specializing in Sun Microsystems. Through their technology grant program, they offer support to a variety of charitable organizations and institutions. Arielle Turcotte (a family member of one of the principals of Acclinet) is trying to place this equipment for a school community service project, in the hopes of making a difference in the lives of many deserving people.

They are looking to donate a pair of Enterprise 3800 systems, each containing 8×750 Mhz CPUs and 16 GB RAM, integrated into a Sun fire cabinet with 36 GB d130 boot tray. This equipment is complete with a 48-month warranty.

In order to qualify you must be a non-profit with preference in the following order:

1. Research and or study of childhood illness
2. Cures or treatment of childhood illness
3. Organizations that support children suffering from childhood illness
4. Cancer research
5. Organizations that oppose crimes against society (with preference to abuse of women and children)

You must also use the equipment in ongoing research operations. The equipment is NOT for resale.
