Sounds cool, but I would wonder how the box can run multiple sessions over a serial port *without* resorting to SL/IP or other non tty-like protocol?

I've got a new (only used for about 2 hours to try it
out) Arula (formerly HP) SecureConsole web-based serial
port console "server" for sale.
(basically, you give this an IP address, hook its DB25
serial port to your equipment, and can then access your
equipment's serial console via a VT100 app on the SecureConsole's
built-in web server)
It also allows more than one person / sysadmin to connect to
the serial console of the device at once, and provides a
chat function between connected users (for troubleshooting
purposes), as well as session history logging, etc.
You can find more complete details, pictures, etc, at:
http://www.arula.com/pdf/ASC07005000.pdf
List price for these is $595 on arula.com, however, I'll let
this one go for CONSIDERABLY less (*grin*). If interested,
email me.
