My last two jobs I found through friends, the one before that I
got from being known around town as "The Sun guy" and the fact that
the guy who hired me hated the guy that I'd walked out on a year and
a half before. 8-)

What peeved me off was, that when I helped a friend from Connectsouth
get a job at my current employer when CS finally tanked; he was hired
on as a contractor until they got his permanent-hire paperwork done -
and 2 weeks after he "came on permanently", he got a better job offer
when he went home for a vacation, and quit the day he returned.

So, even though he was here long enough for me to get a referral
bonus, I didnt get jack.  oh well.

Toady was my one-year anniversary at BRW, too.  kickass.
