Leafnode+ GOOD! (erm, something bad?).. Anyway, I've used leafnode+ for
quite some time, and I've been happy. One Of These Days, I'm going to
finish adding RADIUS support for authenication and fix the "Path" problem.
(Leafnode+ doesn't touch the Path if it's been specified by the machine
before it in the path.) I've been torn between thinking either I should
try to make Leafnode+ as RFC-compilant as possible *or* ... *or* just
leaving it "half-finished" as it is. Leafnode's original idea was not to
be compilant, but just work and KISS. Leafnode is also hella-fast across
a LAN. Leafnode weakness is that if it finds a problem, it eraticates it.
That's how it deals with trouble. KISS again.
I'd appreciate any input from Real Admins as to what course I should take
-- real RFC compliance, or to just "add a feature" with limited
functionality (KISS).
