I thought that same thought (swap my basement for your garage), but in the
end I think I'll just swap-out the Linksys - I have a 10/100 switch on each
floor of my house, I don't think I need a router on each as well! ;^)

Only problemwould be that only the Garage would have a fail-over option...
Oh,that's right - Cable co's don't have "dial up" access like us poor folks
suffering with DSL from Verizon do ;^)
