Well, I'll be dipped! I *do* owe you an apology, there was even an apple
product made by DayStar - The Apple Power Mac Processor Upgrade (APMPU).
"The APMPU was built by DayStar, which sold several versions under the
PowerCard 601 name. After DayStar went out of business, Sonnet picked up
their 100 MHz design and now sells it as their Presto PPC upgrade."
Different than the 601 card for the "regular" Quadra line as well. Nifty,
I had never heard of such a beast... Hmmm... It works at 50MHz in a Quadra
605, and I just happen to have one of those. I think I'll keep my eyes
open for one, that could be entertaining.
