I've switched to Apex Outlook KVM's with shielded video cables, works fine 
w/o ghosting at 1024x768 and 1280x1024  I just got a 1160ES on ebay for 
$300 :)  not bad for a $1700 Current KVM :)  there's a 2160 (2 console, 16 
user ports) up on ebay right now....

  "compaq" 8 port KVM, manufactured by apex, currently $2298, but auction
