  Well, I'm definitely a materialist, and I drive german cars, but I'm
about as far from being a yuppie as one can get.

  I think the yuppie/german car tie-in comes from folks who drive german
cars because of other peoples' opinions (or likes/dislikes), rather
than their own.

  They seem to come from Fairfax, VA.
