My wife & I were going to build a house, and when we
got to degign th ekitchen, we were going to pud
concrete pads on either side of the stovetop (about 3
or 4 feet, at least on one side)... It distresses
nicely, is kind of inexpensive, and was almost as good
as granite for our needs.
