When I lived on an island off the coast of Maine, I had a Cutlass
Cruiser wagon, a 4 cyl, and squirrels climbed up the air intake duct,
and packed the air filter housing with acorns.  I was driving home, and
lost power allofasudden.  Pulled over, saw my air filter smoking. Set
the filter paper on fire, trying to draw air through there at highway
speeds.  Hadda put chicken wire over the air snorkel end to keepm out
after that.
