Actually back years ago, you DID have to know what machine they were
for! I used to have a NorthStar Horizon (which I just sold), and it used
5.25" disks that were 10 sector /hard sectored disks. PC's used soft
sectored disks, and I believe that Cromemco machines used a different
size hard sectored disk. If my memory serves me right (which it might
not) I believe there were about 5 different types of hard sectored 5.25"
disks at one time.
