Subject: [geeks] FS: Cisco Catalyst 2100 ethernet switch
I've got a Cisco Catalyst 2100 ethernet switch for sale. Has 25
10base-T ports and two 100base-T ports. Full or half-duplex,
fully SNMP or serial-console manageable, VLAN support, in-band
and out-of-band management, etc. I have an identical switch on
my home network, and use MRTG to graph bandwidth usage on all the
individual ports, for example.
User guide and MIB manual:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat2100/index.htm
Note: The switch has a Grand Junction logo and is black instead of
"Cisco green", but is identical to a Cisco unit (the only difference is the
logo and the paint; Cisco bought Grand Junction and the FastSwitch 2100
and 2800 were relabeled and marketed as the Catalyst 2100 and 2800).
The switch IDs itself as a Cisco Catalyst 2100 at bootup. I'll upgrade to
the latest firmware and reset all management passwords, etc.
Asking $125, shipping included. PayPal preferred.
Bill
