There was a lady in my college who was in her 70s.  She'd originally
graduated in the FORTIES with a degree from the same school, but got
bored as she got old and decided to go back to school for the hell of it.

One of the brightest people I know, and was like a mom to all the kids
in her classes.  8-)  I miss that school sometimes - it only had 3000
students (commuters included), and felt more "homey" than my 
100-person-senior-class high school did.

(www.usao.edu, btw.. I set up their first web server, running on a VAX
 system - http://mercur.usao.edu, as my summer 1995 Independent Study
 project.  Four weeks of goofing off and sleeping late, one week of
 setting up the web server, writing the pages, and then documenting
 it for five hours credit..)
