If it will help anyone, a friend recently gifted me with a DEC TZ85 tape
drive, thinking it was a 10/20 DLT. It _is_ a precursor to the "real" DLT's,
but only does 2.6 GB on DLT media.

My research shows that it should read TK50 and better tapes, so if it will
help someone resurrect their DEC gear, let me know. I'd be happy to lend it
out; I don't know if I want to get rid of it quite yet, unless someone makes
me an offer I can't refuse <grin>

If anyone has more info on this tape drive, please pass it along.
