I've dealt with Axiontech and Directron, both decent companies...

I really liked Axiontech's $15 3Com 3C589 network cards (good for my sparcbook)...

I'm lucky.  I live a few blocks away from axiontech.com, about 10 min
away from directron.com (they're on the way to work), have a Fry's, gobs
of Best Buy, CompUSA, and other ugly stores, and quite a few decent
local shops.  DSL, Cable Modem, Sprint Broadband, and just about
everything else available, too.
