A few weeks ago, I bought a pack of cigarettes at a Maverick here. It costed
like 3.10, so I handed the clerk, who was a blind elderly man working there, a
fiver. He gave me back 6.90 in change. He must have thought I handed a ten
(how in god's name he fathomed that one is beyond me). Thus effectively paying
for my smokes and making a profit of 3 odd dollars in the process . Smoking
really does pay. *lol*
