Granted, I could take some time off from work and drive cross-country, but there has to be another alternative!
The machine in question is in storage, and would need to be crated and then shipped from there to here. I can't be there, and the person that owns the machine is unable to handle the crating of the system.
In my mind, this is a two-part problem:
getting the unit crated (about 3' cube is the estimated size)
getting the unit picked up and shipped
Time is not critical, but I would like to keep the cost reasonable.
One thought would be a moving company (like United, Global Van Lines, etc.), since this really wants to be on a pallet I think - but maybe another way to go would be with some sort of shipping agency...
The machine is in Santa Clara, CA (hey wait, James - want to bring it out with you??? I'd be happy to meet you in PA!)
Any thoughts, opinions are greatly appreciated...
