Just when the day is going well, Amy calls me at work.

"Uh, the fence is broke".

I come home.  egads.  Appears someone ran into the fence.

Fortunately, the fence actually belongs to the apartment complex whose
parking lot / alley borders on our back yard, so *they* have to fix it.
Unfortunately, I know how long apartment maintenance takes, so after 
the police get here and take a report, we gotta tack up some plywood
on our (inner) side.
