You can mount other stuff on swap:
root at zephyr /root
3 > mkdir /RAMdisk
root at zephyr /root
4 > mount -F tmpfs swap /RAMdisk
root at zephyr /root
5 > df -k
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/proc 0 0 0 0% /proc
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 1984230 1618192 306512 85% /
fd 0 0 0 0% /dev/fd
swap 544048 464 543584 1% /tmp

/dev/dsk/c0t1d0s3 27247718 4721437 22253804 18% /space
sparky:/home 2856590 231797 2567662 9% /mnt
swap 543584 0 543584 0% /RAMdisk
