Try working with Alcatel.
Their OSS support people dont even know how to spell ssh let alone
understand how it work/know how to use it. :)
Hell they won't even let us install the veritas netbackup client on OUR
machines that run their software. It was like pulling teeth to even get
them to let me install DiskSuite.

It's a vendor/consultant thing.  Hard liquor is the best way to deal with
it.
