I laugh at the cheezy attempts that some "network" people do to limit
access. I've seen offices where some M$ desktops weren't configured for a
default gateway or DNS, thus killing their ability to do the internet. If I
am working in a net environment where the people writing the checks are
super paranoid, I simply filter whats unacceptable at the firewall or
router. For other networks, I run realtime traffic cop software. When the
unwashed masses know that big brother is watching they suddenly have no
interest in porno.
