The problem is that pdflatex renders level 3 PS, which uses bitmapped
fonts. This is why things can either look good onscreen or on hardcopy.
If you follow the toolchain I just posted, you get a PDF with embedded PS
vector fonts, which renders -nicely-.
I rarely print out things, and looking at crap documents in acroread
pisses me and my migraines off.
