Well, it is TN, after all...  My uncle (OH) has retrieved many deer from
the highway after being hit by various vehicles for food.  Actually, if
it's fresh, and you remove all the contused (?) and damaged meat, it's
not any different than eating regular venison.

However, smaller animals wouldn't leave much behind, would they?
