[geeks] AAAARGH! new drives in an Octane!

Well, this is news to me.  I stuck a 36GB drive in my Octane to use as a
file storage drive. 

Boot the Octane, and the kernel throws a panic.

Take 36GB drive out, Octane boots fine.

Stick it back in and try to boot, kernel panic.

It dawns on me to try boot into sash and fx the drive before booting. 
Viola!  It works.

Maybe its just me, but that seems kinda backwards.  Perhaps my MCSE is
showing?
