Either that, or you'd get "clumping" - the grass would start to "bunch up"
inside the mower, and then instead of an even distribution/spray of mowed
grass, you get big lumps kicked out every 10 feet or so.  My mower did that
last season until one day I just flipped it over and scraped all the accumulated
grass out.
