i just picked up a 256M ram kit for the onyx on ebay for $60 from 1-800-4memory
and when i went to check it out on their online checkout they asked for a
quantity, so i probably could have gotten as much as i wanted for $60/256M.
that's not to terrible a price, $240 to max out your MC3 at 2GB.  also, if you
watch closely, quad R10K boards go for $700 on ebay sometimes.
