Gonna stop by Borders on my to home Depot today and check out the
programming section.  I'd really like to learn something besides shell
scripting and Perl hacking (I also know Basic, but you almost never see
that anymore).  

Considering the fact that I have very little knowledge of C++ - what is
good place to start? I prefer dead trees - as books are more 'random
access' for my though process...
