We just got a small 480GB drive array from a company called Medea. They 
use IDE drives, but talk SCSI to the server. It is really cool.

One interesting thing, the drives are mounted on spud brackets, but have 
a small SCA like connector.I guess it's the same drives that the iServer 
use.

It's cool, but it was REALLY expensive. But they guarantee 130MB/s.

It's for our new Avid edit suite (well not really an Avid, it's Avid DV 
on a P4).
