I would not be surprised to see some of the people
on this list being directly involved in this
technology: Location based services.
Here in Nederland (The Netherlands; Holland) we have
been introduced to imode. It first appeared in Japan
a few years ago. Basically, it is a fancy mobile phone
that lets you access the web. The neat thing about it is
that coming up in 2003 we should have the ability
to reference information that is geographically useful.
Your phone will know where you are and grab content
based on that.

Now since this is a year away there is time to prepare for it.

Wouldn't it be cool to just push a button on your web phone
and immediately be given the location of the nearest public toilet?
Maybe there is even a way to make a buck (euro) on this too.
Any comments on the technology and how well it will work out?
