So just last week Dell says they aren't shipping Linux on their machines 
anymore.  

Now they are selling machines with NO OS shipped installed, however they 
are including a copy of 'FreeDOS' in the shipping box.

I guess it's some way to navigate around the legal restrictions imposed 
upon them by Microshaft.
