   I didn't buy a BMW to gain entrance into a social group...I bought it 
because I *liked* it.  It was a '92 318i convertible, I bought it in early 
'94 when Digex got funding.  It was lots of fun.  Until, of course, some 
fucking suit rear-ended me on Route 95 and squashed it.  Shortly before 
that, I bought my first Porsche, a 1983 911 SuperCarrera.  Then I sold 
both the remains of the BMW and the first 911, and bought the 911 I have 
now, a 1995 Carrera-2 Cabrio.
