If not for the "safty" device, the speed limiter, It would have gone
much faster. That little car has more balls than most folks give it
credit for. Spins 'em in first, and chirps second and third (with TC
disabled). AS if that get's me man-points or something...
Howver, it's still getting sold/traded/whatever so that Karin can get a
Durango. A truck isn't as fast, but can haul a metric assload more
stuff. Besides, how often do I need to do 120mph? I can think of a lot
of times I wish I had more cargo area, and more torque though.
I'm seriously thinking about grabbing a base model 5-speed in a couple
years to equip with a modified engine with supercharger. Drop the
suspension by 2" all around, stick 18" rims on it and 40series tires,
completely new exhaust system with headers and 2.5" pipes. Total
sleeper though - no rice...
