Maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't that have Edison rolling in his grave?
I seem to recall he hated AC systems, he liked DC.  I seem to recall
a story of him testifying that Westinghouse (his competitor, AC) would
be much better at using for death by electrocution... trying to put
more of an air of danger over AC...
