And note that if you have a cabinet full of 14 shelves of Compaq blades
then you will need another 1/2 cabinet or full cabinet to house the
ethernet switch(es) you connect the 280, or 480 if you use both NICs,
ethernet ports. (If you're smart you'll go with the RJ-21 connectors
and you'll not put any patch panels in between, and if you're lucky
you'll find an RJ-21 capable switch that can handle more than 480 ports
in one backplane -- there are very few that can.)
