[geeks] binhex question

What do I need to read binhex files on a mac?  Netscape 3.03 (the only
web browser I have on CD for MacOS) crashes too frequently to do
anything with (like I literally can't keep it running long enough to
download stuffit expander or fetch), and I'm having trouble getting
the machine to the point where i can do anything with it. Sure I can
use photoshop but what is the point when I can't get images into and
out of it?
