Medina Lake crested at ten feet seven inches OVER the spillway at
about 8:15 PM. That was about 17" from the top of the dam. We have had
conflicting reports that the dam may or may not break. Locals think
not but some fecktard judge in San Antonio says it will.
We are in no danger as we live above the dam and are far enough away
from the water that we sustained no flooding other than the backed up
water in our bedroom. Castroville and locations downriver of the dam
are in for about 16' of floodwaters. IF the dam breaks it will give
them a nice 60' tidal wave. They are suggesting evacuations downriver
of the dam.
