I just learned yesterday in fact that the JetDirect interfaces CAN do
normal LPR printing. I don't know anything about OSX, but under Solaris
you just add it like any other network printer, and use the hostname (or
IP I guess) of the JetDirect as both the hostname, and the printer name.
