Well, it must be paid before August 17th[1].  I will quite possibly
be paying it on the 1st or 2nd though, unless that paycheck is
extremely disappointing[2].  In case you are thinking of it for some
reason, don't hold off on selling either item to someone else if they
want it.  I just would rather you didn't do something rash like toss
them.

[1] It's not actually due then, but I will be leaving on vacation and
the due date falls in the middle of the vacation.

[2] Due to what seems to me to be a wierd pay system, the size of my
checks are always swinging around, even when I worked the same amount
of hours every week for the last month.  It is even more difficult to
be sure what to expect from a check when I was a few hours short one
or more weeks.  I never was able to get a good explaination for how to
figure out myself what a given pay check was, even though I know all
the hours I worked each week going back for many months.
