I didn't say that BMRT was used on every piece of ABL (A Bug's Life).
Pixar developed software that allowed them to mix the two within the
same frame, and this was used for numerous scenes where Pixar wanted
acurate glass effects without having to resort to the usual
workarounds due to being a scanline renderer.

Woah!!!  That would absolutely rock.  That is the kind of far ahead
thinking I wish more companies would use.
