I like to mess with suits.  Black xterm with a dark grey font color.

Suit: "How the hell can you see that?"
Me: "See what?"
Suit: "Your window thingy - it's so dim!"
Me: "Huh?  It's white on black.  Do you feel ok?"
Suit: *adjusts eyes* "What????"
Me: "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Suit: *makes eye appointment*
