Wow that's expensive. I got my top-of-the-line Colt Target Match HBar
w/20" barrel for $1000. In Maryland, the Tax State. An Armalite AR-15
would go for ~$800.

A full-auto M-16 would only run you around $1500 or so, before taxes
(Federal tax stamp ~$1500).
