Suck.  You might want to hit the forums at www.tivocommunity.com.  There's
a guy there who understands the modems REALLY well, I suspect he might be
able to help you out with the line-in problem.

Have you tried the new sort easter egg in 3.0?  We've upgraded our
TiVo so we have well over 100 shows, and the new sort options are
VERY nice...
