I had a friend who in college worked his way up to a 6 inch PVC gun,
doubled the walls around the chamber somehow, firing small muskmelons,
on spark plug fired propane.  They used a grill ignitor, but hooked it
to a regular spark plug.  Once they reached muskmelons I guess they
figured they had met their personal chalenge, and as far as I know just
quit.
