Agreed - last night was an AC night. The radio promised thunderstorms
today, maybe even with hail, but so far they've just passed on by.

Another list I'm on had a thread recently about APC UPS's overheating
and catching on fire. So far mine at home's been ok with just battery
replacement, but it's looking like this summer will be a good test.

Right now sitting in the office, a loft space with no AC but windows
that open and ceiling fans, which has been remarkably cool on the
hottest days so far. The cold water bottle is gathering condensation
nicely.
