Y'see, that's what I remember childhood being like. Your parents got you to
bed early because, well I dunno, that's what parents do and kids need their
rest. Or something. But at least we weren't up till all hours pissing off the
neighbours. :)
The only time I've "flipped out" with them is when I got home from a night
out, must've been around 12:30am and one of the kids (I assume, I wouldn't
entirely discount the idea that it was one of the parents) was bouncing
something off the wall right next to my living room. Incessantly. So I picked
up my basketball and *pounded* it off their wall, just once. They stopped.
And you have to understand, I'm normally a very quiet neighbour, I only ever
play games or music through headphones. I only even have my TV up loud if I
can't hear it because of theirs being obscenely loud. I think it's time to
move. But how can you vet your prospective new neighbours? Just go round their
house and ask if they're annoyingly noisy on a regular basis? :)
