I went through a phase where I didn't eat meat of any kind. I was also
playing collegiate soccer and was frequently injured that year. Not to
mention I dropped 20 pounds of muscle.  I still don't eat red meat, though
not for PETA. 

I always thought it was odd that eating meat is considered by vegans to be
near sinful, but man, plants are living beings also!

I'd like to meet the group that eats nothing but synthetic protein paste.
