OW!  One of mine, too.  I just finished reading "I, Asimov" (third
volume of his auto-biography) and it made no mention of AIDS, but Janet
just cleaned it up a bit and wrote the epilogue before it was published.
She simply ascribed his death at that time to heart and kidney failure
from his bypass.

Sigh.

Apparently, Isaac Asimov died due to AIDS he contracted from a blood
transfusion during his bypass surgery. 8-(
