[geeks] nifty Windows programs?

I know I might be asking for trouble by posting
this, but I know there are people who have at
least some nice things to say about W'dows.

Within the past week I acquired an IBM Thinkpad 600e.
It comes with Win98 installed. Since I already
have an Intel desktop with Linux and Plan9 I do
not see an immediate need to throw another OS on this.
What I would like to do is make it more useful as I
Windows machine.

So, can anyone recommend any nifty programs I can
install on it to make it more useful? I already
have Word and Excel. I also have one game I added:
"WORMS".

What is a good "SSH" client?
