For $500 you could just get one decent PC, and load it up with ram, then
use VMware to run many other machines on it. With 512MB of ram, running
3 Windos installs shouldn't be much trouble, and with 1GB, there's
nothing to worry about. Disk speed will suck, but it sucks on PCs no
matter what.
